The Blurb

My Stupid Mouth (John Mayer)
A date gone bad. A boy doesn't think before speaking (typical) and offends his date. The boy feels like he shouldn't ever speak again, it only hurts him when he does. He remembers what his mom said, "think before speaking". He should have followed her council.

The News (Jack Johnson)
A mom and her son are watching the news. The boy can't understand why no one is sad about a great casualty that has happened. His mom just tells him, "you can't believe everything you hear" but the boy doesn't agree and still wonders why none of the news casters are sad.

At Seventeen
Beauty, Smarts, Sporty, Funny, talented... this is just a short list of things a person needs to be in order to be popular, liked, not considered an outcast. At the age of seventeen, like most girls, a young girl came to "realize" the list. She found that if she didn't have anything that was on this so called "list" she wasn't liked and wouldn't get what other girls did. But in the end she found that she would rather just be herself then be someone she's not. Because after all, who really cares about that stupid list?

Speak Now (Taylor Swift)
A boy about to marry the wrong girl, according to the old girlfriend. But what can a girl do? Day dream. The girlfriend just pretends that the boy she loves won't marry the other girl. He won't say yes and he'll run away right now and meet her. But her daydream ends because she knows she's not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white vail occasion.

A Little Too Not Over You (David Archuleta)
Boy falls in love with girl. Boy loses girl. Girl gets a new boyfriend. Old Boyfriend gets jealous when he sees old girlfriend with new boyfriend and he now misses old girlfriend. He wants her back, but she has already moved on. Complicated yet?
